Gersten Savage LLP was founded in 1977 by Marvin Gersten and Jay Kaplowitz with a vision to bring the same excellence to smaller and mid-sized corporate and individual clients that larger firms prided themselves on with respect to larger clients. Jay Kaplowitz handled the corporate matters for the Firm's initial clients, while Marvin Gersten catered to their litigation-related needs.
Originally known as Gersten, Scherer & Kaplowitz, the Firm grew from three lawyers to 20 lawyers today. Almost from its inception, the Firm knew no geographic boundaries, and today nearly 25% of its client base are either companies headquartered outside the United States or have significant operations outside the United States. Notwithstanding our size and single office, we operate a worldwide practice that has a demonstrated track record for innovation and providing work of the highest quality to meet the domestic and international needs of our clients. |
