Marvin Gersten (1939-1999) was a founding partner of the firm. His lengthy experience in securities regulations issues, including litigation and administrative proceedings in federal and state courts and before the SEC and the NASD, laid the foundation for the firm's extensive practice in this area and was instrumental in establishing and developing the strong nexus between the firm's corporate and litigation practices. Marvin Gersten also played a critical role in the entrepreneurial and collegial spirit that exists within the firm today. The firm's continued success is a testament to his enduring spirit.
