Mr. Riley joined Gersten Savage LLP in 2005.
Mr. Riley concentrates in representing private investment funds. He has advised domestic and offshore funds in connection with raising pools of capital for investment in public markets and private ventures and in connection with various compliance issues.
Mr. Riley also concentrates in the areas of corporate and securities law. In this regard, John counsels privately held and public clients with respect to a wide range of issues arising from capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.
John is a member the Private Investment Funds Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York as well as being a member the Business Section and Tax Section of the New York State Bar Association and the Business Section of the American Bar Association.
