Barry S. Zone joined Gersten Savage LLP in 1998.

He specializes in commercial, civil and criminal litigation, emphasizing securities and white-collar criminal defense and appeals in federal and state courts. Mr. Zone's broad litigation experience has also included the representation of clients in matters involving national security and the intelligence community, as well as matters involving international prosecutions.

Mr. Zone has represented both general and sub-contracting firms in connection with the prosecution and defense of construction litigation. The first half of his career, Mr. Zone was an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, New York  where he was responsible for both general and white-collar prosecutions. As a prosecutor he was also involved in joint prosecutions with the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Zone is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York  and has been admitted to practice in state and federal courts around the country.

He is an active member American Bar Association (Member, Sections on: Criminal Justice, Litigation, Business Law); New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; New York State Trial Lawyers Association; New York County Lawyers Association (Member, Criminal Justice Section).
