NEW YORK and VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 18, 2007 – The law firm of Gersten Savage LLP will hold a conference in Vancouver focusing on changing trends for small and micro-cap companies.  Participants in the conference will include representatives from the American Stock Exchange and Endeavour Financial.

Governance, Capital and Markets: Perspectives for Emerging Companies will be held on Monday, April 23, 8:30 to 11 a.m., at the Four Seasons Hotel, 791 West Georgia Street, Vancouver.

Featured speakers will be partners Jay Kaplowitz, Arthur Marcus, and David Danovitch and attorney Kristin Angelino of Gersten Savage; Kevin Ernst, managing director, the American Stock Exchange; and Gordon Keep, managing director for corporate finance, Endeavour Financial, a specialist, independent investment bank focused on the natural resources industry.

The conference will address critical issues for small and micro-cap companies in the areas of corporate governance and disclosure, capital-raising and the public markets.

"Small and micro-cap companies have made a strong resurgence in the past two years.  Indications are that 2007 is going to be another robust year for the small-cap sector, with returns again outpacing medium and large-cap companies," said Jay Kaplowitz, founding partner of Gersten Savage, which has an extensive corporate finance and securities practice and advises small-cap companies.

Added partner David Danovitch, "The next 12 months represent an ideal, if not critical time, for small and micro-cap companies.  The conference, which is part of the Gersten Savage Small Cap Series, will address how small and micro-cap companies can solidify their current standing and position themselves for the future."

Companies wishing to attend the conference should contact Raffelina Cipriano at Gersten Savage, 212-752-9700, respond@gerstensavage.com.
