Additionally, Shariah Capital’s Shariah hedge fund efforts resulted in its nomination for Best Innovation/New in Islamic Funds at an award ceremony in Dubai in November.

“We are very pleased to host this exceptional networking and learning opportunity in the growing sector of Islamic finance. Personally, I am pleased to be able to introduce Sheikh Nizam, Sheikh Yusuf and Eric Meyer at the event, which has attracted the very cream of the crop of Shariah scholars. I am honored to have worked with them, as well as with Shariah Capital. The conference should prove insightful for U.S. institutions looking to serve Islamic investors with Shariah-compliant financial products and services,” Roper said.

“I am so glad our dear friend Eric Roper will be chairing Islamic Finance in North America. He has been a driving force behind much of our efforts. I know of no better person more at ease introducing leading Shariah scholars and Western business professionals alike. He is a treasured resource to Shariah Capital and its scholars,” said Eric Meyer.
